Our Secondary School Programs are high‑energy, movement‑based and neuroscience‑informed experiences designed to strengthen emotional regulation, confidence, resilience, communication and positive peer connection in students from Years 7–12.

Blending movement, mindset, reflection and practical wellbeing tools, these programs support young people through the complex social, emotional and academic transitions of adolescence, a period where research highlights increased stress, identity shifts, peer pressure and a natural dip in school connectedness. We understand these pressures deeply, which is why every session is delivered in a supportive, no‑pressure environment where students can participate in a way that feels safe and authentic to them.

Each program is tailored to the age, stage and needs of your cohort, offering practical strategies that help students navigate pressure, build healthy relationships, develop leadership capacity and contribute to a positive, inclusive and connected school culture.

We are also an NDIS‑approved provider with extensive experience delivering programs for all abilities and age groups, ensuring every child and young person can participate fully and safely.

WHY WELLNESS MATTERS IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Secondary school is one of the most important, and most challenging, stages of a young person’s life. Students in Years 7–12 are navigating rapid emotional, social and neurological change while juggling identity, friendships, academic pressure and the constant noise of the digital world. When wellbeing isn’t supported, learning, behaviour and confidence are the first things to decline.

Wellbeing isn’t an “extra.” It’s a foundation.

When students feel safe, connected and emotionally regulated, they engage more deeply, learn more effectively and show greater resilience under pressure. Strong school connectedness during adolescence is one of the most powerful protective factors for mental health, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

With wellbeing now, a priority across Australian secondary schools, structured programs that build confidence, leadership, communication and positive peer relationships are essential. SO ARE YOU™ helps schools create environments where every young person can thrive academically, socially and personally.
